About the Job
Summary of duties: An exempt position with clinical, administrative and educational responsibilities in the care of patients requiring cardiac care. Under the supervision of the Executive Committee, Executive Leadership Group and the APP Council, the NP will have a critical role in the ambulatory and acute care setting, with both team member and individual duties

- AHA ACLS and BLS certification required.
- Willingness to work in multiple clinic locations and hospitals.
- Willingness to work a variable schedule as required.

Education:
- Preferred: Master’s degree in designated area preferred.
- Minimum: Completion of an accredited Nursing Practitioner
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- 1-3 years of prior experience as NP preferred.
- Willing to consider new graduates as well.
- Current and active RN and NP license for the state of Alaska, preferred.
- Eligible for NP license or NP license in progress for the state of Alaska.
- State of Alaska NP Prescriptive Privileges.
- Active DEA certificate (upon hire).
