About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to join our mental health team in Coos Bay, OR. In this role, you will be responsible for managing mental health problems and coordinating health and wellness programs for adult patients. You will adhere to state and federal rules and regulations while following nursing standards of care.
As a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for adult patients. You will manage and monitor the mental health needs of patients with acute and acutely chronic conditions, providing medication management and therapeutic interventions to support their recovery. Additionally, you will coordinate health and wellness programs that promote mental well-being for patients in the inpatient setting. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be essential to deliver holistic and patient-centered care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations is also a critical aspect of this position. You will have the opportunity to educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies.
This position focuses exclusively on adult patients with mental health conditions within a 13-bed inpatient unit.
Compensation: $160,000 plus benefits including.

Qualifications:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMHNP) (Required).
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon (Required).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Required).
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in psychiatric care for adult patients.
