Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Roq Virtual Staffing LLC

Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to deliver acute care services for patients of all ages in Elko, NV. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies and have previous experience in acute care settings. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive acute care services to patients across the lifespan, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Conduct thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate medications and treatments.

Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and follow-up care.

Adhere to established clinical protocols, standards of practice, and regulatory guidelines to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education programs, and interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
