About this role:
As an Advanced Practice Provider at our WorkMed clinic, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Our WorkMed facilities provide walk-in service for industrial injuries that are not immediately life or health threatening. Youll help with occupational health matters such as workers compensation injury care and ensuring an appropriate continuum of care for the injured worker, complete employment physicals and testing, such as DOT physicals, and drug screening.
In this role you will work in a high-volume clinic seeing patients for a variety of on-the-job injuries and work-related health concerns, as well as physical and tech procedures. Youll order necessary tests and exams to ensure proper and complete care, diagnose patient needs and determine a plan of care, and interpret patient care tests and exams to guide care. Youll use advanced specialty knowledge to ensure that the care provided is appropriate, effective, timely, and cost efficient.
- This is a PRN position with the expectation that you would work 2 9-hour shifts each week, one at St. George WorkMed clinic and one at Hurricane WorkMed clinic
- Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
- There is potential to pick up additional shifts to provide coverage for colleagues
- No weekend, call, or holiday requirements are associated with this position

What youll bring:
- Unrestricted Utah NP or PA license
- Current Utah DEA certificate required prior to start date
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
- Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, or occupational medicine experience is preferred
