Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Recovery Services Opportunity - Trinity Health

Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is looking to add a full-time (1.0 FTE) dedicated and compassionate Recovery Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team located in Grand Rapids, MI.

• Our Recovery Medicine group focuses on assessment, treatment and counseling for all substance use disorders. We work closely with all Primary Care Providers and Specialists to provide patient-centered treatment plans
• Outpatient department of Trinity Health Grand Rapids
• Office is open Monday-Friday, 8-5pm with no weekends
• Although APP will be based out of our Grand Rapids office, they will occasionally need to travel to our Muskegon location
• Call is rotated
• Opportunity to teach Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows
• Trinity Health offers an Addiction Medicine Fellowship and will have a Fellow starting July 2024

Qualifications:

• Recovery Medicine experience preferred
• APPs must be board certified in their specialty prior to employment
• State of Michigan license required at time of employment.
• DEA license
• BLS Certification and maintain recertification
