Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Lange Recruiting

Our well-established Family Medicine practice is seeking a full-time, licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or certified Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. We are an independent, solo-physician practice that is transitioning to a segmented concierge medical practice model; the NP/PA will be responsible for the care of the practices non-concierge patients. The successful candidate must be able to work independently in a supervised clinical setting, as the NP/PA will be responsible for the successful management and care coordination of an assigned patient population.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Assess patients needs, order or perform tests, interpret results and offer diagnosis and education; order prescriptions and referrals as needed
• Communicate with supervising physician regarding patient care
• Chart visit notes in an electronic medical record in a timely fashion

The NP/PA position offers the following structure:

• Full-time schedule with flexibility: Choose between a 4- or 5-day workweek - if opting for 4 days, you will include one early morning and one evening shift - it's your choice!
• No weekends! No evenings!
• Call duties are shared with the practice's physician.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Florida NP or PA License
• Two years of experience, preferred
• Unencumbered DEA License (within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS/BLS Certification
• Self-motivated, directed, flexible and a team player
• Outgoing and engaging personality
• Energetic and enthusiastic about career growth and development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
