Enterhealth is a nationally recognized leader in the addiction field. The Ranch nursing team is responsible for initial and ongoing clinical care of residential patients. The nursing team is an integral part of the collaborative care environment in which our patients can focus on healing.
Essential Functions:
- Perform initial and ongoing physical and psychosocial assessments according to state regulations and the standards of nursing practice
- Create, implement, and revise client-specific plans of care.
- Collaborate with clients, families, therapists, providers, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Ensure accurate and timely administration of prescribed medications.
- Monitor, record, and communicate client vital signs and condition as appropriate
- Provide treatment education to clients and families
- Ensure the provision of age and culturally appropriate-care
- Participate in the orientation and mentoring of new staff members
- Oversee clinical record management and filing
- Serve as a member of the support team and provide appropriate guidance regarding client monitoring and care within the scope of the license
- Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required
- Demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to Enterhealth Policies and Procedures
- Perform admission clinical evaluation taking into consideration pre-admission information received from the intake team
- Works closely with Admissions & Special Projects Director, Clinical Director, and Therapist to ensure appropriate patient placement.
- Works closely with the medical team, preparing the new patients to be seen by NP and or MD
- Utilizes EMR
- Monitors QA activities corresponding
- Maintains professional demeanor in dress, attitude, and performance in support of community milieu
- Actively supports the mission, philosophy, and goals of Enterhealth
- Protects the organization's reputation by keeping information confidential

- Performs other duties as required by the supervisor and/or the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in EMR.
- Current Texas licensure - RN or LVN
- Degree in Nursing
