Position Summary:
The Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing assistant care to patients and assists in maintenance of a clean work environment under the direction and supervision of the Department Director or Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of a patient; provide the care needed as described in the units policies and procedures skills check lists. Honoring the diversity of everyones values, culture, spiritual beliefs, and other socio-economic issues in addressing the needs of patients, visitors, and co-workers. Participates in performance improvement activities. Provides appropriate care of the Telemetry patient.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- BLS
- 1-3 years experience
Preferred Requirements:
- 3 + years experience
