We are searching for a talented Nursing Assistant (CNA)
*$1,200 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*
Hours: 24 FLEX 32hrs
Please Note: This is a 24-hour Flex to 32-hour position, regularly scheduled for 24 hours per week but may be scheduled for up to 32 hours per week; health and dental benefits are based on 32 hours.
Shift: Evening Shift, 3:00p-11:30pm, weekend and holiday rotation
Location: Knowles - St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities:Under general supervision of individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, perform a variety of duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, maintain patient environment, and provide assistance to licensed staff in carrying out other related duties, etc.
Qualifications:- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.
- Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent is required.
- Current CPR Certification is required.
- Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
