Medical Clinic Responsibilities-Perform surveillance exams and that may include but is not limited to hearing conservation, respirator,ERT, thermal stress, etc. Surveillance exams shall be tracked for completion and closed to maintaincompliance. The medical assistant is required to be able to operate all equipment and perform anytesting needed. They will assist with case management by scheduling employee, tracking cases,documenting employee interactions, assist medical care, and communicating with outside providers forclinic specific needs. The medical assistant shall work in collaboration with the medical providers onsitefor all medical case management. Rooming and preparing patients to be seen which may include vitalsigns, provide immunizations, phlebotomy, drug/alcohol testing, COVID testing, ear irrigation, glucosetesting, administering EKGs/PFT/Titmus/Audiometer as directed by onsite provider. All employeeinteractions that are medically related shall be documented in the EMR. Assist with immunization clinics,health fairs, blood drives and other wellness events onsite. Attend all site and corporate requiredmeeting and training. Support medical colleagues with difficult cases. Package and arrange waste pickup. Assist provider with any medical care and this may include emergencies and medical treatments(therapy/oxygen/nebulizers).Administrative Responsibilities-Schedule medical appointments, answer/respond to telephone calls and medical request. The medicalassistant is responsible for scheduling, tracking, and understanding the components forsurveillance/employment exams within the scope of their training. Arrange meetings as directed by themedical team. Scan/Fax/Copy/Ship/Email/Prepare documentation. Documentation may be neededfrom outside providers/employees/other parties and the medical assistant will facilitate receiving thedocumentation. Documentation will need to be uploaded into the EMR as directed. Understanding andpreparing records for storage and retrieval in Iron Mountain. Obtain and maintain access to vendoraccounts (Concentra/TK/Medtox/Pivot/Quest/Sedgwick/Cority) including local required reportingfacilities. The medical assistant will be responsible for maintain the clinic supplies (ordering, checkingexpiration dates, etc.), equipment (monthly testing- Eye wash/safety shower/AED/ Fire Extinguisher),QC testing, calibrations, temperature monitoring, etc.), and clinic licensing. Complete iLearn trainingswith deadlines as assigned. Clear, timely, respectful, and professional communication is expected withemployees, supervisors, clinicians (internal & external) & other DuPont partners. Have workingknowledge of our Corporate Benefits and provide employee with contact information as requested(Accolade, Hinge, EAP, Carrot, etc.). Monitor disability & restriction claim times. Responsible for payingoutside vendors invoices, billing back charges, and completing expense reports.Corporate Administrative Support-They will need to support Corporate Programs/Projects that could include data collection andmanagement, setting up accounts or arranging meetings. Work may be leveraged to support remotesites for administrative clinic support. May assist with acquiring content for meeting or to support aprogram/business need. Perform other tasks and responsibilities as directed the Global MedicalLeader.
