Job Description
Saint Luke’sis seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our float tier 3 team. This isa great opportunityfor an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a nursing assistant, a patient care tech or even someone interested in becoming a nursing assistant andprovidingpatient care. Those candidates that are not certified or that do not have applicable experience will receive6 weeksof on-the-job training tolearnthe position. This training will be full-time. You will have the opportunity to help improve hospital throughput andcapacitywhile enhancing thepatientexperience. Our nursing assistants make an impact on our patient’s hospital stay daily byprovidingindividualized care in a positive and supportive work environment. Responsibilities:
Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks.
Provides assistancewith activities of daily living and care such as bathing, hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration,ambulationand positioning.
Anticipates the patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion.
Individualizes andmodifies care according to the patient’s needs.
Collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
Central Staffing Office Tier 3 is required to work at three - four entities.
To be successful in this role, you will need to havestrong communicationand time management skills. We are seeking Nursing Assistants who are team oriented, eager to expand their skills, andpossessa strong attention to detail. We are excited to offer opportunities for entry level and experienced CNAs, nursing assistants and patient care techs. If you have had an interest in providing patient care butdon’thave experience or have worked in home health, the6 weeksof training will allow you to start in your position with the skills and confidence to perform your position.
NursingAssistantstarting pay is $17.50 per hour, along with night and weekend differentials when you work those shifts.

As a Med Surg/Intermediate Float Pool Nursing Assistant, you will float to all of our Saint Luke’s Hospitals in the KC metro area including Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City, Saint Luke's North, Saint Luke's East, and Saint Luke's South Hospitals.
