Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) - St Monica Center for Rehab and Healthcare

The Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) is strategic driver of business excellence, staff excellence, clinical excellence, and customer excellence at the nursing center.

Position Highlights

• Lead, guide and direct the nursing center department heads who are direct reports.
• Promote and represent the nursing center in the community to ensure favorable public relations.
• Create an environment where employees are highly engaged, abide by the facility's core values, and are focused on providing the highest level of care and compassion to patients/residents.
• Ensure regulatory and policy compliance within the nursing center.

Please have the following requirements:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator’s license or meet the licensure requirements of NJ.
• A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or health-related field
• Experience in a managerial or administrator capacity in a hospital or nursing Center required
• Strong communication skills and ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
• Knowledgeable of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing Center administration
• Strong ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation
