Position Overview:
The Nursing Manager is responsible for the overall direction of home health clinical services in both the pharmacy and infusion centers. The Nursing Manager establishes, initiates, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for home health quality services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
- Provides leadership efforts to ensure survey readiness and accreditation compliance.
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and all relevant regulations (state, federal, and professional standards: i.e. Boards of Nursing, HHA, and Medicare Conditions of Participation).
- Communicate with the pharmacy, infusion centers, and billing offices, as well as nursing and home health agencies to coordinate patient infusions and resolve medication issues.
- Collaborate with the clinical team on nursing orders for home infusion and infusion centers.
- Oversee training, competency evaluations, and professional development for the nursing team.
- Manage nursing workflow, documentation, and billing processes.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and orienting new nurses; plan and execute in-service programs.
- Address patient complaints, unusual occurrences, and accident reports.
- Review nursing contracts and approve invoices.
- Implement and monitor systems for nursing care and documentation.
- Develop and maintain tactical plans for nursing resources, including agency relationships and education.
- Analyze clinical documentation to adjust staffing and submit reports to leadership.
- Maintain clinical proficiency in nutritional support, infusion therapy, and infection control.
- Serve as a primary nurse case manager when needed.
- Direct performance improvement and risk management activities for the nursing program.
- Mentor staff, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback to foster individual and team growth.
Plus – may perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Required Associates Degree or equivalent in Nursing
- Preferred (if applicable): BSN
Experience:
- Associates of Science in Nursing as granted by an accredited school of nursing (required)
- 5 years as a practicing RN or equivalent experience
- IV therapy certification (preferred)

Working Conditions:
- Standard office environment, with occasional visits to Infusion Centers, Patient Homes, Doctors Offices & Pharmacies
- Occasional travel within Southern California may be required.
- Full-time position with standard business hours; flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods is expected.
