Nursing Scheduler (Temporary) - Bel-Air Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Company Description: Bel-Air Manor is a 71-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Newington, Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are currently hiring a Physical Therapist. Come join our team!

Temporary Position for 4 months. 

SCHEDULER DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Print daily staffing sheets.
• Update as needed for Vacations , switches and call –outs.
• Distributes to units.
• Receives, maintains and processes Vacation requests.
• Verify how many employees are currently schedule for Vacation days.
• Have DNS approve or deny.
• Return copy to employee, maintain original for payroll.
• Tracks attendance.
• Review daily staffing sheets to identify call-outs.
• Log call –outs.
• Work with Human Resources Director on tracking in accordance with attendance policy.
• Responsible for the scheduling of all nursing staff while maintaining a safe staff to patient ratio.
• Work with DNS to schedule to facility census level.
• Communicating and coordinating with HR and DNS regarding open schedules.
