We are seeking a Nursing Supervisor to:

• Work collaboratively with Emergency Department (ED) leadership and oversee of daily operations of the department.
• Plan, direct and evaluate patient and family care.
• Communicate and collaborate with a variety of staff including ED staff, nursing leadership, medical staff, case management, social work and multiple departments.
• Acts as a clinical resource to staff and assure nursing care is provide within UW Health’s established standards of care.

Education:

Minimum – Bachelor of Science - Nursing (BSN). An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered but the candidate must be enrolled in a BSN program with a program completion date within 24 months of hire.

Preferred – Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BSN)

Work Experience:

Minimum – Three (3) years of relevant clinical, ED, or Charge RN experience. Demonstrated progressive leadership experience.

Preferred – Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in clinical practice. Management, Supervisory, or charge RN experience with demonstrated success.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Registered Nurse license in state of Wisconsin.

Preferred –  Certification in relevant specialty area.
