Nursing Supervisor Responsibilities...

• Under the general direction of the Nurse Manager, the Nursing Supervisor is responsible for supervising the delivery of nursing care and nursing process on the assigned shift.
• The Nursing Supervisor is accountable to perform in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, New Hampshire State Regulations, the standards of rehabilitation practice established by the American Nurses Association and the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and Standards of Clinical Practice, established by the American Nurses Association.
• The Nursing Supervisor must be able to interpret the established goals, objectives and operational functions of the department and hospital to staff appropriately.
• The Nursing Supervisor must possess and demonstrate clinical, professional and leadership abilities at all times, and be capable of independent decision-making and problem-solving.
• This is a highly visible position to patients, visitors, physicians and all interdepartmental staff, representing nursing administration and hospital management.

To qualify you must...

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. CRRN, BSN preferred.
• Licensed and registered as a professional nurse in the State of New Hampshire.
• Minimum of 3 years rehabilitation/medical-surgical experience with 2 years of management responsibilities.
• Trained and certified biennially in BLS Healthcare Provider Level CPR.
