QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Must possess organizational skills.
3. Must be proficient in MS Office.
4. Possess basic basic accounting and Excel Skills.
5. Competent in records management and general office procedures.
6. Must have effective oral and written communication skills

197 Days

SALARY/PAYGRADE:

$23,723 – CP3

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2024-2025

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Combine all school orders for frozen and dry goods, make substitutions if needed, and create pick and delivery tickets. Ensure withdrawls from the warehouse follow FIFO.
2. Handle all transfers from warehouses to schools in case of emergency order.  
3. Maintain close communication with warehouse supervisors to coordinate distribution, handle urgent deliveries, and identify out-of-stock items.
4. Regularly update the stock item database in the inventory management system (Primero), including deactivating items as needed. 
5. Input the physical inventory counts fro mthe warehouses and reconcile them.  
6. Resolve inventory discrepancies.
7. Assist other personnel when needed.
8. Provide prompt and courteous service to managers, addressing issues as they arise in a timely manner.
9. Support the Food Service Department with regular and reliable attendance.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director Nutrition Services, Logistics and/Nutrition Services Director.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY: 

All food service employees must use good body mechanics and follow safe working procedures including infection control. The employee must report any unsafe condition to a manager or supervisor and demonstrate no on-the-job injuries due to a lack of good safety practices. On-the-job accidents must be reported immediately to the manager or supervisor and an accident report completed.
