Essential Functions and Duties:
- Assists department leadership with broad operations
- Assist with planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing the department service Oversee the daily service and performance of the nutrition service employees
- Provide and coordinate food services for patients, employees and visitors
- Ensure adequate daily staffing, timeliness and standards of service
- Maintain employee documentation, corrective action and evaluations
- Train and orientate new employees
- Actively participates in cafeteria, tray line, production, and dish room to ensure services are properly executed
- Creativity, problem analysis and decision making
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership managerial skills and experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years’ Food Service experience
- Associated degree in Food Service or 2 years relevant experience preferred
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification preferred
- Currently certified dietary manager preferred
- Ability to work varied shifts
