System One is currently seeking an O&M Technician on a 3 month contract position located in Odessa, TX.
O&M Technician Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain plant equipment such as diesel engines, air compressors, pumps, and boilers
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on equipment, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
- Monitor and record data such as water test results, fuel consumption, and meter and gauge readings
- Assist with plant startup and shutdown procedures, including during outages
- Maintain a safe working environment, comply with safety policies, and handle hazardous materials safely
- Respond to trouble calls, assess the issue, and take corrective action
- Monitor emergency power units to ensure they are operating properly
- Maintain data logs and records
- Report conflicts to the shift supervisor
O&M Technician Requirements:
- Lock out Tag out knowledge
- GE and FA experience
- Plant operations experience
