Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks in a professional, environmentally conscious, and safety-focused manner.
- Ensure efficiency, reliability, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Gather equipment and instrumentation data, manually adjust valves as needed.
- Monitor and manage operational systems, responding promptly to any issues or emergencies.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Conduct predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance as required.
- Oversee operations and maintenance activities on shift without direct supervision.
- Provide direction to team members in operating and maintaining facility equipment.
- Make operational decisions guided by procedures, regulations, and sound judgment based on available data.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar operational or maintenance role, ideally within the power generation industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience with steam or combustion turbine systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with distributed control systems (DCS) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with strong accountability and ownership of tasks.
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of a combustion turbine station, including auxiliary systems.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Competency with Microsoft Office and related software tools.
- Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance practices.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks that involve walking, bending, climbing ladders, and kneeling.
