OB Hospitalist Physician at CommonSpirit Health

Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a BC OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Opportunity is open to either full time or part time applicants. Responsibilities would include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. Opportunity Highlights:

• Incoming physicians would be based out of Mercy Hospital of Folsom
• Hospital does approximately 600-700 births/year
• Join a growing program which will consist of 3 dedicated Ob Hospitalists and support from a large pool of clinic based doctors in the program
• 24 hour back-up Ob on-call
• Part-time opportunity that includes seven 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts.
• Three 12 hour back-up shifts a month required (home call)
• Level I nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center

Compensation Range: $195,000- $315,000

Responsibilities

Patient Care:

Diagnostic Procedures:

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
• Perform procedures as needed
• Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
