What does your day as an obstetrics nurse manager entail:
As the Obstetrics Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing department employees, overseeing policies, and handling daily issues to ensure the efficient operation of the OB unit.
Your responsibilities will include providing direction for patient care in the maternity and newborn care setting and ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to every mother and baby who enters our facility.
Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for both patients and staff, contributing to the overall success of our OB department.
We deliver about 1 baby per day, there are 2 RN's on shift and this position reports to the CNO.
Do you have what it takes:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
Current licensure to practice as an RN by the Arizona State Board of Nursing
2+ years of progressive nursing experience in which principles of nursing practice, judgment, and supervisory abilities have been demonstrated
A master's degree is preferred but not required.
