Description
We are currently looking for a Babysitter in San Diego, CA (92131).
A wonderful family in Scripps Ranch is looking for an occasional babysitter primarily for their 14 month old daughter and occasionally for their 5 year old daughter. Care will be on an as-needed basis to support one or both parents as they are working from home. An ideal candidate will have experience with child development and will utilize a gentle and soft-spoken caregiving style.

Schedule:
- Occasional/as-needed
- Weekdays between the time frame of 9am and 5pm
- Some weekend date night availability preferred
- Family is generally able to provide 3-5 days notice of care
- Start date: ASAP
- End Date: Long Term

- Primary care for 14 month old
- Occasional care for 5 year old
Rate: $18 - 28/hr
Responsibilities
- All aspects of childcare
- Engaging and age appropriate activities, focusing on developmental milestones
- Tidying after the child
- Maintaining child’s schedule as set by parents
- Meals and snacks as-needed, being mindful of dietary needs and restrictions
Requirements
- 5+ years of paid, professional toddler care experience
- Background in child development
- Driver’s License + reliable vehicle
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Smoking is not permitted on the premises
- Farsi-speaking highly preferred
Compensation + Benefits
This position pays $18-28 per hour, and the family is looking for occasional care.
