POSITION PURPOSE: Provides occupational therapy services to patients by assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in need. Shift Must work at least 8 hours per day 5 days a week during normal office hours. No holidays, no nights. No weekends. Office hours are 6:30am-5:30pm ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES • Conducts occupational therapy services, as appropriate. • Completes occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations as prescribed/needed with reference to company dosing guidelines. • Completes formal written reports of evaluation findings within seven business days of evaluations. • Develops individualized occupational therapy treatment plans. Reviews and updates each patient's treatment plan after re-evaluations and/or as needed. • Completes Service Note in Patient Manager after evaluations. • Completes Therapy Note in Patient Manager to document therapy services provided. • Assists with completion of other documentation related to occupational therapy evaluations and therapy, as appropriate. • May supervise certified occupational therapy assistants. • May supervise college/university therapy students. • Refers patients for additional clinical services, as needed. • Attends and actively participates in job-related functions such as parent meetings, peer reviews, workshops, and mandatory trainings, as indicated. • Represents the program to parents, visitors, and the public in a positive way. • Completes continuing education each year to maintain professional licensure and National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy membership. • May perform other related or non-related duties, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Education/ Certification: • Master or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university. • Current license to practice occupational therapy in Arkansas. • Current certification with National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Experience/ Knowledge required: • One year of successful experience in a similar position working with infants/toddlers and/or preschool children with developmental disabilities or special needs preferred.
