Select Staffing Solutions is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will work with physically disabled patients, including children and adults, to assess their functional needs and implement tailored treatment plans that promote independence and improve quality of life. This position includes both school-based therapy and acute care rehabilitation settings, with opportunities for flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to rural schools within a 60-mile radius.
- Perform thorough, objective assessments of patients’ self-care abilities, including their medical history, cognitive function, sensory-perceptual-motor skills, and activities of daily living.
- Develop measurable, realistic treatment goals based on individual assessments, tailoring plans to the unique needs and conditions of each patient.
- Design and implement dynamic, outcome-oriented treatment programs aimed at progressing patients toward functional independence.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patient response, ensuring consistency and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and caregivers, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for school-based therapy, including IEP goals, progress reports, and participation in meetings with staff, parents, and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Comply with state laws, regulations, and therapy standards related to school-based and acute care therapy, including documentation and billing practices.
Work Schedule
- School-Based Therapy: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the opportunity for a 4/10 schedule. School calendar holidays and summer breaks will be observed, with optional clinic/hospital hours available during those periods.
- Acute Rehab Unit: Flexible scheduling options including Tuesday-Saturday (8-hour shifts) or Wednesday-Saturday (10-hour shifts), with work split between the Acute Rehab Unit and inpatient units.
- Shift Differentials: Evening shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM) = 8%, and night shift (11:00 PM-7:30 AM) = 11%.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure to practice occupational therapy in Idaho (candidates may apply prior to receiving licensure).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in acute care settings is preferred but not required.
