The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care in inpatient and/or outpatient areas of BronxCare evaluating and managing patients with physical disability due to illness or injury. Undrr direct supervision of the Occupational Therapist, the Occpational Therapy assistant Implements individualized treatment plans, administers occupational therapy treatment plans, provides education to patient, family and caregivers.

Required Experience:
 2-4 years of experience in direct care occupational therapy
in the last 10 years
 Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy required

NYS License and certified as a COTA

Completion of a two-year program for occupational therapy assitant that meets NYS requirements
