Occupational Therapist - Center Based - Stafford Early Autism Services

Stafford Early Autism Services (SEAS) is a small, clinic based, ABA provider in Stafford, VA that is looking for passionate and motivated occupational therapists and speech language pathologists to join our team in order to provide a collaborative treatment approach for clients.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities and Duties Include:

·Evaluating and assessing client’s fine and gross motor development, self-help/adaptive skills, oral/feeding skills and sensory needs

·Creating individualized treatment plans and providing 1:1 therapy in a clinic-based setting

·Providing parent training and models teaching strategies

·Collaborating with entire treatment team, to include parents, BCBAs, RBTs, OTs, teachers, etc.

·Completing detailed and thorough session notes

·Completing all documentation required by insurances

·Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as necessary

·Maintaining a professional relationship with all staff, clients, families and treatment team members

Qualifications and Skills

·Master’s degree in related field

·Occupational Therapist License in Virginia

·Maintain CEU’s as required by Licensing Board

·Must love working with children and families

·Must be a hands-on trainer and a team player

·Excellent communication and collaboration skills

·CPR/First Aid Certification

·Clean Background Check
