This position as a Occupational Therapist allows you to evaluate, plan, direct and administer physical therapeutic interventions in accordance with plan of care. Occupational Therapists coordinate, delegate, and supervise responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (Occupational Therapist Assistant).

HOW YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE
You work the day shift, four 10 hour shifts per week, This is an hourly position with many opportunities for maintaining a work-life balance.
As an Occupational Therapist, at SHS you would work with the rehab team in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You have plenty of rehab support in a very dynamic and active team environment. Candidates well get the best of both worlds working in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Collaborating closely with your team, you will ensure that services are of the best quality, are cost contained, and are carried out in an expeditious manner. The Occupational Therapist works closely with the nursing and medical staffs and other clinical department managers in addressing rehab issues as they are related to the services provided to all patients ranging from the newborn to the elderly.
OUR IDEAL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
- A minimum of a master's in occupational therapy, Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
- Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist within the State of Colorado within 90 days of hire.
- Education and experience in all in all aspects of physical therapy obtained either in school education, experience, or subsequent training.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Knowledge of additional languages besides English would be preferred.
