Location: Denton, Texas

Shift: 12 HR Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $30 - $40

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Denton, Texas. In this full-time day position, you will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients, providing personalized therapy plans to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and ensure that high-quality care is delivered with compassion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patient needs, develop and implement therapy programs, and monitor progress.
• Modify treatment plans and goals as needed based on patient progress.
• Perform timely and thorough clinical documentation, ensuring accuracy in charge entry.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and the medical care team.
• Educate patients, families, and staff regarding therapy treatments and expected outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor ancillary staff, students, and volunteers.
• Advance clinical skills through ongoing education and evidence-based practices.
• Ensure alignment with organizational goals while achieving personal professional objectives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Masters degree or Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
• Licensure/Certification:
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
