Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy. The Occupational Therapist collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team for provision of outpatient services, inpatient Geriatric Services and for any patient care services required in other areas of the acute care facility. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist program. 
2. Current licensure in Texas as an Occupational Therapist. 
3. Previous experience in hospital environment preferred with an emphasis on geriatric and/or rehabilitation services. 
4. Current verification of competency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. 

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
