OT Job duties:

• Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social needs to determine appropriate occupational therapy interventions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and needs
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence in daily activities
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and discharge summaries

OT Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Proven experience in patient service and case management
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging
• Familiarity with occupational health practices and principles
• Ability to work in a sub-acute rehabilitation and long-term care facility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care
