Overview
Are you an Occupational Therapist (OT) or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a desire to impact the lives of the older adult population? If so, our Rehab Teams at Barrington of West Chester in West Chester, OH and Barrington of Oakley in Cinncinatti, OH are seeking their next employee-owner team member.
***This is a Part-time (20-29 hours) OT or COTA split position between Barrington of West Chester in West Chester, Ohio and Barrington of Oakley in Cinncinatti, Ohio***
Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will administer a prescribed OT program to restore and maintain maximum function and prevent disability using a range of therapeutic modalities specific to upper extremity function, sensory and perceptual skills, coordination and self-care skills including, light hygiene, bathing, dressing, transfers, eating, and homemaking. More importantly, you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve.
As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), you will work closely with the Occupational Therapist to establish appropriate goals and creatively execute the treatment plans. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be required to maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation. More importantly, you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve.
Qualifications
- Be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapists or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Hold a valid or pending (for newer graduates) state license. We welcome new grads!
- It’s great to have had acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required!
