About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapistat Columbine Therapy Services, you will:
- Evaluate patients upon referral, develop personalized treatment programs, and adjustplans based on ongoing assessment and progress.
- Demonstrate therapeutic exercises, instruct patients and families in home programs, and supervise care provided by assistants, students, and volunteers.
- Communicate with physicians, families, and the care team regarding treatment plans and patient status, andparticipate in related conferences.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensure clinical competency through continuing education, and assist with staff training and department maintenance.
- Conduct screenings for long-term care residents and upholds a 75% productivity standard.
What We're Looking For:
- Graduate of accredited school of Occupational Therapy required.
- Current Occupational Therapy DORA license and NBCOT license required.
- Experience in geriatrics and long-term care preferred.
Skills:
- Clinical Evaluation and Assessment: Ability to assess patients' physical and mental capabilities and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Techniques: Knowledge of various therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and intervention strategies.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in explaining treatment plans clearly to patients and families and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Problem-Solving: Skills to identify patient needs, modify treatment plans, and find solutions to complex health issues.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accuracy in maintaining detailed patient records and tracking progress.
- Teaching and Instruction: Ability to educate patients and caregivers about exercises, techniques, and home programs.

Our Total Rewards package includes a starting wage of $48.50/hr., along with a weekend shift differential.
