Our Award Winning Client is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide in-home services in Williamsport, PA, serving Lycoming & Clinton Counties. This is a Pay-Per-Visit (PPV) role, offering competitive compensation between $52-$60 per visit, depending on experience, along with the $10,000 bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments to evaluate patient functioning, establish short and long-term goals, and develop treatment plans to improve independence and cognitive functioning.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic and self-care procedures, as well as the proper use of assistive devices, orthotics, and prosthetics.
- Perform functional and cognitive re-evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Keep detailed clinical progress notes and submit required paperwork in a timely manner according to agency policy.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and report on patient progress and treatment modifications.
- Coordinate outpatient services when care cannot be delivered in the home.
- Offer consultation and training to other members of the home health team regarding equipment and techniques as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service sessions, and case conferences.
- Continue professional development through ongoing education and participation in agency activities.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Occupational Medicine.
- Valid Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) in Pennsylvania.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Current certification in any of the following:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
- American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA PALS)
- Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in Social Work.
- OT license number provided upon request.
Schedule and Shift Details:
- Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.
Travel Requirements:
- Local travel throughout Lycoming and Clinton Counties.
