Hudson Valley Location:
Positions are available throughout Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties.

Achieve Beyond was founded in 1995 and is continuously growing to meet the needs of developmentally disabled children through our ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapy. We currently offer ourservices in the entire metro New York area (including the five boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley and Long Island) and Albany, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, and the Virginia/ Maryland/ DC area. We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community and clinic settings. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth 21 years in a natural setting.
- Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
- Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
- Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
- Prepare progress reports as indicated.
- Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists!
- NYS Licensed Occupational Therapist
- 1-2 years of experience working with children birth5 is preferred but not necessary
- Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
- The ability to climb and descend staircases
- The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
- The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods
WAGE: Evaluations : $135- 190
