Location: Various locations across Massachusetts
Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) support occupational therapists in delivering therapeutic services to enhance patients’ daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by occupational therapists.
- Assist patients with therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills.
- Document patient progress and report observations to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain equipment and organize treatment areas.
- Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies and tools.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program.
- National certification and state licensure as an occupational therapy assistant.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Compassion and commitment to patient care.
