Location: Great Bend, KS

Shift: 1-2 Shifts Per Week, 6-8 Hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Salary: $30.00 per hour

Job Description:

The Occupational Therapy Assistant will provide therapeutic services to home health patients under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist. This part-time role offers flexibility with 1-2 shifts per week, making it ideal for an OTA who enjoys working in a home health setting. You will assist patients in regaining their independence and improving their quality of life by following individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Implement occupational therapy treatments according to the care plan established by the supervising occupational therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the occupational therapist.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Assist patients in improving their ability to perform daily living activities and regain independence.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Licenses: Licensed to practice as an OTA in the state of Kansas.
• Certifications: BLS certification required within the first two weeks of employment.
• Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply!
