Title: Occupational Therapy

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities, needs, and goals, including motor skills, cognitive function, and psychosocial aspects.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' capacity to perform daily activities and improve their quality of life.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Apply therapeutic interventions, exercises, and adaptive equipment to promote the improvement of physical, cognitive, and sensory functions.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home-based programs, and the proper use of assistive devices.
• Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and clinical outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Instruct patients on techniques and exercises designed to enhance their ability to perform activities of daily living, such as dressing, cooking, and personal hygiene.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in occupational therapy by participating in ongoing education and training.
• Ensure a safe and sanitary work environment by adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide supervision and guidance to occupational therapy assistants and support staff, when appropriate.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid Occupational Therapist license in the applicable state of practice.
• Demonstrated experience in working with diverse patient populations, including children, adults, seniors, and individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in occupational therapy techniques, equipment, and tools.
• CPR certification is preferred.
