Provide regional occupational therapy services for consumers receiving I D D services in Marion County and for early psychosis programs covering Marion, Polk, and Linn counties. Provide occupational profile and performance analysis, written Occupational Therapy Evaluations, and Occupational Therapy Treatment and Intervention Plans for respective consumers. This classification functions as an autonomous occupational therapist responsible for occupational therapy services' delivery, safety, and effectiveness.

Supervision of others is not a responsibility of positions in this classification.Typical Duties - Duties include, but are not limited to the followingProvides Occupational screenings/assessments for identified clients in Marion, Polk, and Linn Counties. Services are provided in the office, in the community, and in individual's homes. Provides consultation, training, & orientation to Occupational Therapy interventions and recommendations to treatment team members, student interns, and other professionals. Facilitates psychoeducational and skills groups ( M F G, Health Lifestyles, social skills, etc.) Participates in treatment plan development in collaboration with the treatment team and community members when appropriate (i.e. Individual Emergency Plan). Ensures the collaborative development, periodic review and revision of O T recommendations on Individual Support Plan. Documents services to meet contract. Expectation is that employee will strive for 30 hours per week to be scheduled with occupational therapy, groups, client support, committee work and approved training. Performs other job duties as assigned. Response Level 2: In the event of an emergency, employee makes a reasonable effort to report to work. Employee may be required to perform duties outside of their regularly assigned duties. Employee may be requested to work an extended or flexible schedule. Staff at this response level must complete Incident Command System 100 and 700 on-line or in-person training.Requirements for the PositionE X P E R I E N C E A N D T R A I N I N G Bachelor's degree or higher in occupational therapy. Must possess a current driver's license in the applicant's state of residence and an acceptable driving history.
