**Overview:**

A well-established law firm seeking an experienced **Of Counsel** attorney to join our Commercial Litigation team. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who excels in pre-trial work and prefers to focus on case preparation, strategy development, and motion practice rather than taking cases to trial.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Case Strategy Development:** Collaborate with the litigation team to develop and implement effective pre-trial strategies tailored to the specific needs of each commercial litigation case.
- **Legal Research & Writing:** Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- **Discovery Management:** Oversee and manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and handling document review.
- **Client Communication:** Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on case progress and offering strategic advice on legal matters.
- **Settlement Negotiation:** Engage in settlement discussions and negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes for clients before trial.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with trial attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure seamless case management and preparation.

**Qualifications:**

- **Juris Doctor (JD)** from an accredited law school.
- **Admission to State Bar** in AL
- **Experience:** Minimum of 10  years of experience in commercial litigation with a strong focus on pre-trial work.
- **Skills:** Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to clients clearly and effectively.
- **Collaboration:** A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting colleagues and contributing to the firm’s success.
