About the Job
ABR is recruiting an Office/Accounting Assistant for a small, family-owned business in Stevens Point.
The Office/Accounting Assistant position will be between 25-35 hours per week and can be flexible between 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Starting wage is $20.00 per hour.

Office/Accounting Assistant Job responsibilities:
- Answer phones and interact with customers
- Basic accounting - Accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, deposits and light bookkeeping
- Various paperwork, filing and maintaining records
- Assist sales department and help with customer inquiries
- Other administrative duties as assigned
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a professional office setting
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience with light bookkeeping
- Must possess excellent customer service and people skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
Office/Accounting Assistant Qualifications:
- Must have 1-2 years of office experience
- MS Office proficiency
- QuickBooks experience is preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
