Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Orange, MA looking for a Office/Accounting Manager. This is a full-time position!
Salary: $60,000-$75,000
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the COO, the Accounting Manager will ensure that effective financial controls are developed, implemented, and maintained across all financial records and procedures. This role includes the timely preparation of management reports, tax reporting, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The Accounting Manager will also oversee all HR functions from onboarding to employee separation.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain consistent management reporting as directed by the COO and CEO.
Reconcile monthly bank statements and ensure complete month-end documentation.
Prepare daily bank deposits and input Accounts Receivable invoices.
Manage collections of accounts receivable and ensure timely processing of Accounts Payable.
Ensure invoices are sent to customers promptly after orders are completed and shipped.
Maintain 401(k) and Workers' Compensation plans, as well as employee healthcare files.
Handle communications with the payroll company and insurance providers.
Control the Accounting Department in alignment with company goals and directives.
Foster open communication with the COO, CEO, and relevant employees to ensure smooth operations.
Perform additional duties as necessary to support the profitable growth of the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred.
Minimum of five years of full-charge bookkeeping experience in a service or distribution environment.
Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and the ability to interpret financial data.
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MRP systems.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle conflicts with compassion and common sense.
Skills and Abilities:
Self-starter with a proactive approach to responsibilities.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, particularly regarding fiscal matters.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Authority and Accountability:
The Accounting Manager will have full authority over all functional activities related to their responsibilities and will be accountable to the COO for ensuring that all financial, legal, and regulatory obligations are met in a timely manner.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
