About the Job
Looking for a reliable candidate to fill a full-time position as an office Office Admin Assistant. Must have good computer skills proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and willing to learn internal computer systems. Job duties include filing, answering phones, office organization, preparing documents, and other office related duties. Required: great communication skills, comfortable working with other associates, able to take direction, work as a team and be a self-motivated. Office Hours M-F 8:30a-5:30p with ocassional overtime. Medical and retirement benefits following three month probationary period and review.
RESPONSIBILITIES
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible. Ability to access, retain and upload digital files and data
- Organizes and archives records and documents
- Creates new files and provide needed information on forms and reports.
- Secures and protects the privacy of files, records and documents
- Operates office equipment including photocopier, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
- Provide assistance to office staff, instructors and apprentices
- Answer the phone to take messages, answer questions or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
- Assist in office management and organization procedures
- Perform other office duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge of office devices and processes
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
- Adept typing, word-processing, and data entry skills
- Ability to read and understand a wide range of materials
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work individually and as a team member
- Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacy
- High school diploma
