MEDICAL OFFICE MANAGER

John R Gilmore MD, a private practice ENT located in Dallas, TX is seeking an ambitious professional to join our team as an Office Administrator. The candidate must be an outgoing, personable self-starter with excellent communication and clerical skills. This person is expected to have great management experience and competency with computers. This position demands a person who is detail oriented and extremely organized.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage projects including but not limited to patient flow, patient satisfaction/customer service, practice volume, insurance verification, staff training, and all other operations functions.
• Manage patient schedule ensuring efficiency.
• Provide reporting on key business metrics.
• Identify practice and business development opportunities to maximize the clinic’s opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure that all team members are executing all aspects of the job at a high level.
• Lead others to accomplish organization goals and objectives, contributing to a positive work culture.
• Oversee employee relations and performance issues, including a performance and review process.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years management experience
• Medical billing and accounts receivable experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to track and demonstrate results and compile executive summaries
• Strong analytical accounting experience
• 4 yr-degree; healthcare background preferred
• EMR experience

We are a practice with 2 locations and will need your help with all things related to patient service and staff leadership.

This position is primarily based in the North Dallas office but may require occasional visits to our Beckley location.

Position is full time, Monday – Friday.

Salary - $55K-65K DOE
