Michelli Weighing & Measurement is hiring a Office Administrator for their office in Harahan, LA! 

As a Office Administrator you will perform clerical and administration activities to support the service and sales department.

Job Responsibilities:  

• WORK SAFELY – Accidents are preventable.
• Greet walk-in customers with a warm and positive attitude.
• Answer telephone calls and direct the calls to the appropriate department or
  person.
• For service and sales calls, gather information necessary to generate the
  orders.
• Compose and type routine correspondence.
• General clerical activities.
• Place orders with vendors.
• Organize and maintain file system and other records.
• Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including email and faxes.
• Attend training sessions as necessary relating to the job.
• Willing to assist other co-workers when available or time permits.
• Assist service or sales manager with scheduling.
• Ship and receive equipment.

Job Qualifications:  

• Self-starter and motivated.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work along side
  others.
• Good phone etiquette.
• Follow directions.
• Meet deadlines as necessary.
• One (1) year or more of vocational technical training or equivalent a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED.
