Our client, a prestigious law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a skilled and professional Receptionist/Office Administrator to manage day-to-day office operations and provide exceptional support in a fast-paced legal environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Job Description:
The Receptionist/Office Administrator will be responsible for managing office operations, greeting guests, and assisting with client inquiries both over the phone and in person. This role also involves managing office amenities, coordinating events, maintaining facilities, and supporting administrative tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests in-person and over the phone, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Manage office amenities, including overseeing kitchen areas, restocking supplies, and maintaining the coffee service and snack pantries.
- Coordinate office events and catering, ensuring smooth logistics and execution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office, manage mail and deliveries, and liaise with vendors.
- Support administrative tasks, including scheduling, maintaining databases, and handling ad hoc projects.
- Serve as a key point of contact for building management, office facilities maintenance, and fire drills.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of administrative/receptionist experience, preferably within AmLaw 200 law firms.
- Experience interacting with clients in-person and over the phone, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing office amenities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and high levels of professionalism.
- Bachelor's degree required.
