Dual role: Office Assistant/Behavior Health Technician
About Your Role:
As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for acting as the primary point of contact for assigned programs. Ensure their assigned program functions effectively. Act as a liaison and resource to all internal and external business partners.
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-21, who are confronted with serious, identified, emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. With the support and guidance of the Behavioral Consultant, you will aid in improving independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels which require less or no service intervention. You will travel to the clients' home/school/service location daily being sure to follow the prescribed treatment plan and provide behavioral and treatment interventions and consequences to the client. Setting boundaries with clients and their families to prevent dependency upon your services as you also provide support to parents and adult professionals. Being sure to educate and train parents/young adults to utilize these skills, providing positive reinforcement and provide culturally aware and competent service provision.
Approximate hours for the clinic will be:
- Tuesday: 1PM-5PM
- Wednesday: 9AM-4PM
- Thursday: 12PM-6PM
- Friday: 12PM-5PM
For the BHT role, approximately 15 hours/week in the schools/home/community.
Perks of this role:
- $14.00/hour for the Office Assistant role (max rate)
- Competitive pay starting from $18.00/hour (billable rate) for the Behavior Health Technician role
Does the following apply to you?
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid PA Driver’s License and car insurance
Preferred education and/or experience:
- At least 1 year experience supporting a similarly sized office and/or 1 year of experience in a customer service position
Additional requirements/qualifications:
- Up to 25% of travel between locations – as the need requires
- Basic understanding of data entry and formatting in Microsoft Office
- Ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI Clearances
