Client Overview:
Our Manhattan-based client is seeking a temp associate to work with their growing team in a Office Assistant role to support with general office administrative duties. Prior office experience is required. This is a true temporary/contract position for 2 to 3 months in length.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20 – $23/hr
Position overview:
The Office Assistant will be the first point of contact to greet all visitors when they enter the office. The Office Assistant will answer calls, support in house events and meetings, and take on projects ad necessary. This associate will support the front desk and administrative team and should be professional with a warm and inviting demeanor. Our client is looking for a candidate who is eager, a fast learner, and organized with prior reception experience.
Responsibilities of the Office Assistant:
- Answering a high volume of phone calls/Greeting all incoming visitors
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail for the office
- Responsible for keeping the office clean and organized
- Supply ordering and kitchen stocking
- Light scheduling, calendar management, data entry, and administrative support as needed
Qualifications for the Office Assistant:
- Prior experience a professional setting – office, customer service, or administrative support
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast paced environment Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Tech savvy – experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Google Docs/Sheets
- Organized and detail oriented, personable, and a quick learner
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
