About the Job
Adecco is seeking a dedicated Office Assistant to join our client’s team in Peoria, IL! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s office by providing essential administrative support. This role offers will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from filing and answering the phone to basic record keeping, organization and supply ordering.
You will be providing support to the plant manager, ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly by performing and streamlining administrative tasks.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of prior office support experience
Customer service experience
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Familiar with office environment, office equipment, ect.
Must pass a pre-placement background check
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Outlook
Responsibilities might include the following:
Maintaining and organizing files and record
Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail
Answer the phones, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate colleagues.
Utilize office appliances such as photocopier, printer, etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
Take minutes of meetings and dictation
Assist in the office management and organization procedures
Monitor stock of office, departmental and safety supplies, and report shortages.
Conducting weekly inventory counts
Tracking and arranging safety training meetings and quality assurance training as required
Assisting in the receiving of materials by issuing " Receiving reports" to material arriving at the facility and attaching inspection reports confirming count scores are accounted for.
Utilizing the client's ERP system to input all received materials for accountability
Scheduling customer orders for shipping by scheduling pickups and preparing all required documentation such as packing slips
Reviewing daily completed production documentation for accuracy
Providing support during external and internal audits processes such as AAR's
Supporting tours during customer and vendors visits
Assist Plant Manager with HR related functions
Communicate with the client's HR department office in New Jersey about any employee related issues
Collaborate and support the Client's HR department in New Jersey about supplying and coordinating any communication or documentation needs between SRS staff and the Client's HR office in New Jersey.
Any other duties/tasks and responsibilities assigned by upper management and or HR department.
Accurately enter data into computer systems
Maintain office records, customer files, and reports
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Assist with various administrative tasks as needed
Pay Details: $18.00-19.00 per hour
