The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for an Office Clerk III (12 months) for the Transportation Department.
Job Description: Provides support to the Transportation Department by providing assistance with administrative functions and correspondence to include: assistance at dispatch with phone calls from staff, parents, and the community; Assist with payroll/timesheets entry and filing; process and file student and staff paperwork in accordance with applicable processes and laws; data entry and running reports in Transfinder, WinCap timesheets, and other programs; for all related schools, organize school calendars and student forms, create purchase orders, all other duties as assigned.
Required Credentials: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma plus EITHER:(A) Two (2)years of paid full-time or its part-time or volunteer* equivalent office clerical or secretarial experience; OR,(B) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with and Associate's degree or successful completion of sixty (60) college semester credit hours; OR,(C) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.* Volunteer experience must be documented by the participating agency and signed by the appointing authority. Employment dates, average number of hours worked per week, and job duties must be included.Preferred Credentials:
+ Successful experience in a professional office environment
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
+ Highly skilled in computer applications
+ Highly organized with exemplary time management skills
Work Year: 12-month assignment; 5 hours per day; 8:00AM - 1:00PM
